T.Fargo writes "Food Porn: The Quest for Better Bread part 2 (and book review)"
Back in July, I posted an article about my search for better bread. The kind of bread Europeans take for granted, and they should, as it is also a great source of pride and staple of every day meals. In that article, I stated how I was going to study how to flesh out creating a flour similar to the flours used in Europe, as the wheat there is much different than the wheat grown in the United States. After a couple of brief experiments using the traditional methods of bread baking and playing with different flour mixtures in an attempt to create something similar, I threw in the powdered towel and decided to seek knowledge from new sources.
T.Fargo also writes "Should Churches that Support A Candidate Keep Their Tax Exempt Status?"
In a survey from 2008, 38% of people polled thought that Churches that support candidates for president should lose their tax exempt status. What do Newsviner's think about it these days?

Little attention has been paid to the meaning of conscience. It is not the same as disapproval. It is the inner voice that governs our personal conduct. In Ms. Davis's case, it would be the voice that prohibits her from entering a single-sex union. She confuses her disapproval of such unions with conscience. Her conscience is not violated by issuing a bureaucratic and secular permission for such couples to marry, though she may disapprove. If she were to perform the ceremony, or was herself a partner in such a marriage, that would indeed violate her conscience. But there is no constitutional protection for disapproval. She may disapprove all she wishes, but that is not conscience, and is not protected by law.
